The result turns out in this case, the new Louder House album, Fast Forward.
Fast Forward began as a request to write a tractor pull song. The singer in a local WI cover band called Bayley and said there aren’t any tractor pull songs and I want one. The song “Dirt Sleddin’ Digger” then became the first song towards the Fast Forward motor sports concept album.
A friend that drag races in the NHRA then heard Digger and said “write me a song for drag racing.” So Brian wrote a song about drag racing. A friend in the cast of CMT’s Trick My Truck heard Digger and said “write a song for Trick My Truck,” and Brian wrote a song about Trick My Truck, so beginning the evolution of the Fast Forward compilation CD.
From there Bayley created a few more songs around racing for NASCAR and INDY racing. Similar sports, therefore, similar songs. With a love for being on the lake, a boating song is included. For love of motocross and the inability to ride without laying it down every time, Bayley brings the extremity of the sport, to the extremity of the song. In attempt to pitch a couple songs for a Richard Petty movie, homage to the King, is included as it should be with anything to do with racing. Then a couple bonus tracks round out the album, for firing up those 4-wheelin boggers, monster trucks and off-roaders, for some “good clean country fun.”
