Ever since he heard his first rap song, Daddy knew he was going to be really into the music scene. Envisioning himself as a pillar in the music community, he picked up a pen, grabbed a piece of paper, and started pouring his heart out. Writing about his life, what he’d like, but still waiting for that chance to spit it at a mic.
“I remember sitting at a table with my parents at a Country Kitchen telling them I wanted to be a DJ,” explains Daddy. “That wasn’t all I wanted to do. I wanted to rap. My parents didn’t believe me then, but I’ll be damned if they don’t now.”
Writing his rhymes whenever he had the time, Daddy had written a collection of songs, hooks, and other overlying material, even writing poetry to relieve stress. The only problem that lie ahead of him was not having a producer and his knack for being troublesome.
After watching some of his greatest influences get murdered, he began writing more… and more… and more. He was determined of making his dream come true regardless of what lacked.
Lost Soul Recording & Publishing, LLC. is ten years in the making. Three Underground Mixtapes; an array of instrumentals in Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B; and now the politically-charged, food for thought studio album by Daddy.
