Lord Caperell grew up in the streets of Detroit as a Local battle MC. Honing his skills in High School, in the same battle class as Boodang and Big Proof (RIP) from D12. Lord Caperell grew up in the streets of Detroit as a Local battle MC. Honing his skills in High School, in the same battle class as Boodang and Big Proof (RIP) from D12. He was in many battles through the beginning stages of his career. It wasn’t until after dropping out of high school that he began to take his career more serious. He put together a super rap group of MC’s known as SHYQUAN. The group put together several underground records and achieved small notoriety in the city. Caperell became a spearhead of the group as the lead battle artist. But it wasn’t until meeting up with Zhao-ski of Subterraneous fame did the Group began to spread its wings. Making a special appearance on his Debut album, “It’s a Black Operation” (2001) that he and Zhaoski became close friends. SHYQUAN also went on to also release a debut album “The Day that Changed the World” (2002) with almost all production By Zhaoski, Massiah “Da God”, and Lord Caperell himself. This album gained them a lot of publicity in the State of Michigan as well overseas. But through several devastating events the group was forced to disband. Which this is also what forced Lord Caperell on his journey as a solo artist. He remained in contact in contact with Zhaoski going to him for Music production and on his first solo venture “Hip Hop Cometh” to be released under the Black Operation Records® moniker. He also put together a Music production company with his brother Massiah “Da God” known as One Room Productions. Lord Caperell has made appearances on several albums and mix CD’s. Beace, an artist from Pontiac and also of subterraneous fame. Put together his first solo album. Cap appeared on track the “Vigilante Click”, with cap as the anker on the track. Also several Atlanta underground Mix CD’s such as “Nothin But Hot” and “Street Heat”. As of recently He has gained a lot of momentum over the internet on several sites such as Myspace, Isound , MyRawkus, Number One Music and Blackplanet. Through this strong internet push has given him even more exposure and more business ventures. So much so that His high powered track “Let’s Go!!!” was Debut at 2008’s BET’s Spring Bling in Florida. His solo effort “Hip Hop Cometh” is still a work in progress striving for perfection. But he has also begun new work on a second album untitled. He has also written a street novel titled “Thugged Out” under going the publication process. He has also starred in several inner city plays “Lambs Books of Life” & “Rubbish Piles” Lord Caperell is a collage of hardwork, skills, talent, and vigorous studying. “Talent means nothing without hardwork.”
