I’ve been watching old Frank Capra films lately (American Madness, It Happened One Night, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town) and I’m suprised the themes he concerened himself with in the 30’s are still major issues today…the failure of financial institutions, the loss of indiviuality in a global economy and the struggle and plight of the little guy vs. a system that seems insurmountable. One of the reasons I love old films is that it gives me a chance to look in a window back through time and imagine what it would be like to exist there. Most people say it was a simpler time, but I think the average person dealt with the same hardships and fears that we all do presently. The big difference is they worked with a lot less and made a lot more.

Can someone please explain to me the benefit of jailbreaking an iPhone?

Y’know, I haven’t said anything about the death of Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett and Ed McMahon because they aren’t really dead…their art and inspiration will continue to inspire and move us. All were talented…all had their issues…and all motivated us. As long as they are remembered…they will never leave us.

Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans. I’m finding it difficult to keep track. Maybe later…

We live in a time when trying new things has been underestimated. Listening to new songs won’t kill you, eating new food doesn’t make you weird, and going new places isn’t as scary as it used to be. Strange things happen when worlds collide.
