Borrowing the sultry line from the movie Brown Sugar “When did I fall in love with hip hop?” Is more than a question it is a way of life, at the tender age of 9 falling deeply in love with Hip Hop listening to the sultry voice of Prince, Livin’s older brother, the smooth lyrics of Slim an OG from the hood, the capitalizing message of Naz paved the way of today’s hottest newest Hip Hop artist.Born and raised in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn NY Livin escaped into his music. Joining forces with his child hood best friends, Jo-Jo, TK, Geda K and now Aftermath Recording Artist Joell Ortiz, forming a group Ill Team together these young men took the local clubs by storm with they’re passionate lyrics and seductive swagger they were a force to be heard.In 2003, Livin was busy getting noticed, catching the attention of Roc-A-Fella’s solder Memphis Bleek, he invited Livin to the Baseline Studio where he recorded with the Get Low movement recording artist Geda-K. After recording “We Ballin” in the Baseline Studio, produced by Scott Storch and “Get Low” with Memphis Bleek, Livin was invited and went on the Roc the Mic tour with Roc-A-Fella starring Jay Z. While on tour Livin put his Let’s go Vol.1 mixed tape CD out selling 5,000 CDs. Rolling Stone named one of the hottest new artists. In 2005 Livin formed his own promotional label called Heavy Promotion, put out his 2nd mixed tape CD called Let’s go Vol.2 selling another 5,000 records killing the streets of NYC. His CD has collaborations with just to name a few, Chris from the Young Guns and Joell Ortiz Aftermath recording artist. Whirling threw the streets of NYC cleaning up the local competition winning multiple showcases including Faces in the crowd with Jay Hatch and Urban Explosion with Jessie Jess. Livin was taking the underground market by storm, hitting all the local bars and clubs in multiple cities leaving a trail of admires behind in each state. Livin not only won a Hustle Ya Flow Showcase in 2007 where he won $1,000 cash prize and earned himself a Demo deal with Demo shoppers he was nominated for the best male rapper of the year an Underground Award. Livin’s music is on 92.1 in VA where he is the headliner for Hustle Ya Flow Battle of the States Tour beginning August 2007.Livin is not done yet, together with Hustle Ya Flow he is taking NYC as well as numerous states by storm leaving his fans wanting more.
