The prolific words of Sam Cooke declared "a change is gonna come." It's time for that change, and littleSUNDAY is at the forefront. Sharing the Canadian stages with with comparative acts such as Thornley, Econoline Crush, Default, Suzie McNeil, Honeymoon Suite, See Spot Run, and Jonas, there is no mistake that littleSUNDAY is a strictly commercial band though, as their music brings something to the table for everyone! Their discography is evidence of this. Day of Hollow, their 2003 release, reveals a harder edged flair, but as the band evolved, they dipped into the alt-pop scene on 2006's Cross the Line. AS a result, they signed a Canadian Deal with YahooMusic Canada and launched an online assault on the indie music scene! While both releases garnished success, they needed to solidify their sound; thus merging the rock with the pop, and the result is a revitalized and innovative style sure to put this band on the global map. In late 2007, littleSUNDAY signed a distribution deal with Fontana North/ Universal Music Canada, thus launching their newest CD 'Wait For Tomorrow' across Canada! The title track was serviced to major stations throughout the country. The band appeared on local televion, as well as Sound of Music Festival, Y108 Get Hammered Picnic, the Beaches Festival in Port Colborne, Toronto IndieWeek, and the Cravefest Film Festival. Adding to the littleSUNDAY advancement was an endorsement by Carparelli Guitars, UDrum, Spector, Los Cabos, Firewire and more... The accolades they've received already are proof positive that they deserve more than just casual consideration. From inclusion on numerous compilation CDs, rotation airplay on various radio stations, endorsements by highly respected instrument companies, and a recently inked distribution deal, it is readily apparent that people are taking notice. Is the "next big thing" littleSUNDAY? Some questions in life are tough to answer, but this one is easy – unequivocally yes!
