This musical project started in early November 2008, Leroy and myself had been in a band for roughly 2 years together and unfortunately it run it's course, motivation had died and ultimately so did it. But me and Leroy had always enjoyed writing and recording music together, so I asked him to record a track that I had written myself. Half way through recording this track (which may re-surface somewhere in the future) we got into the discussion of me learning to speak Dutch, and he asked me if I could sing in Dutch. I said ok I will give it a go, so he showed me a song he had put together himself and I put a few words together and recorded them for him, BANG! LeRoi et Garcon was born.Since then we have been working on a couple more songs getting them down and recorded, we have really tried to be as open minded with our project as we can be and use a wide variety of elements when recording. We have also started recording tracks in French as well as Dutch, this is a little influence from Belgium where they speak a lovely combination of the two.
