Leesa Jordan was born in Arizona and raised in Texas for a time, before spending most of her life in California. In true country fashion, Leesa's family would sit around playing music and singing. Leesa sang quite often and developed a love and appreciation for music and singing at an early age, and even sang on the local radio station. "If we weren't playing or singing", adds Jordan, "Then we constantly had music playing on the radio".
During her time in Texas, Jordan used to perform accapella concerts for the neighborhood kids. "I never knew fear", says Jordan, "I only did what I loved to do, sing".
Through the years, Leesa Jordan continued to sing and became a featured soloist in her church choir, where she was very involved in singing out at local and surrounding events in the central California area and beyond.
After coming to Nashville in 1997 to pursue a musical career, Leesa Jordan penned Christian tunes that were recorded by, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Colorado Mass Choir, Jana Long (Avalon), Kelli Williams, Image, Chris Willis, Disney's Christmas Lullabies and more. Jordan also performed on a number of Christian albums, including, Colorado Mass Choir, Praise In His Presence, With This Ring, With This Ring...Forever I Do, Joyful Noize and Songs For The Soul, to name a few. Later, Jordan was excited to learn, Praise In His Presence received a Dove award nomination, as she performed on, as well as penned a song on that album.
Jordan, with the help of one other co-writer, penned every song on her album with the exception of Elton John's, "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word". "The music I was surrounded with growing up was extremely eclectic", explains Jordan, "We didnt have a favorite genre, we simply loved great music". Some of Jordan's personal favorites are Stevie Wonder, The Eagles, Lionel Ritchie, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Alabama, Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Rogers, Big & Rich, Keith Urban, Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, and the list goes on and on. Today Leesa Jordan is focusing on writing and looks forward to releasing her debut album.

Your definitely on your way to stardom. Your vocals are pleasantly energetic.Your tonal quality along with pitch and vibrato control are superb and natural. I feel success is knocking loudly on your door. Your relation with guitarist/co-writer is a special one, and are sometimes very hard to find. I can see the musical magic between you.
