These are words that would greatly describe the newest sensation to come out of Triceptus Studios. Lazurus and Catipus a.k.a. LAZ & CAT are the first music group created under the newly formed Music Division of Triceptus Studios. The members of Laz & Cat are also the Co-Executive Producers of Triceptus Studios, Jay Lazurus Holland, and Crosby Catipus Tatum, both whom have an extensive knowledge of Music, Film & Television producing, with over 14 years of combined industry experience on multiple success levels. Since their first meeting in College at The New England Institute of Art, Laz & Cat have both excelled in their respective fields, with Laz in audio recording and beatmaking, and Cat, with film & television producing, directing and screenwriting. In 2003 while at The New England Institute of Art, Laz & Cat created a music televisions series called The Beantown Block, spotlighting musical artists in a live setting in the Boston area. The series won numerous awards including a Best Audio award for Laz, and the Most Outstanding Broadcaster award for Cat along with his Associates Degree in Television Broadcasting. In 2005, Laz & Cat created Triceptus Studios as a Film, Television, and Entertainment Production Company, creating various television series such as DA Block Presents, & All 4our One, along with a number of short films that have each appeared at various film festivals in the New England Area. In May of 2009, Triceptus Studios made the decision to create a music division that would help give the opportunity to launch the careers of many promising musical artists, while creating & producing music for artists and clients around the world. Along with Laz & Cat, singers Ms. Smith, and NV join the two bringing together a dynamic blend of strong lyrics and sweet sounds that has resulted in the duos first single FEEL. In October of 2009, Laz & Cat signed a Multi-Year Distribution Deal with WIGGENS MEDIA GROUP WORLDWIDE, giving Laz & Cat a platform to have their music heard on all fronts. With combining a myriad of musical sounds and mainstream and underground percussive techniques from all walks of life, Laz & Cat bring an eclectic mix of subtle tones and bass booming power to their unique producing style that tell various stories from their own crazy & unique lives for listeners to experience. Their music is greatly influenced by world-renowned producers such as Trackmasters, N.E.R.D, Cool & Dre, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie, The Dream, and many mainstream producers/artists around. With other singles like, FANTASY GIRL, SWAGGER DANCE, Laz & Cat are considered to be the DYNAMIC DUO, of producing & directing in all phases of entertainment.
