Straying through the mist of Berlin's party swamp, Lagrunge is a bunch of gifted maniacs driven by their desire to  express themselves in music. As it is, they have been around for like three years losing members on their way,  recruting new ones. Now they are finally in a full line-up of expressive musicians (all of them have been playing  in several bands before) and trying to get hold of some new stages to rock.Their music can be described as stoner  rock infused with a diversity of other styles. It is based on Chris' straight and sometimes playful drumming  rounded out by Jan's accented bass lines, that go slappy from time to time. On top you hear rolling heavy rhythm  guitars taking turns with jazzy and funky bits of acoustic pickings. Gregor's gorgeous lead guitar playing adds a  note of stadium rock to the sound of Lagrunge and makes it big and wide. In spite of these classical heavy rock  ingredients Lagrunge isn't a typical stoner rock band, as Sebastian's cleaner vocal style supported by Jan's  crystal clear backing vocals gives Lagrunge's sound more of a poppy quality and pushes it in the direction of indie  rock and grunge.
