Kurt Scobie is an Atlanta, GA based singer/songwriter/keyboardist with a big sound and rhythm to make you want to tune in. Kurt was born and raised in a small town in Southeastern Michigan. His desire for a no-fluff life drives him to write songs about life, and love, and hate, and dreams, and failures, and disappointments. You can find Kurt Scobie listening to everything from Switchfoot to Brad Paisley to Dave Matthews Band to Mat Kearney. He likes to say that he doesn't sound like any other artist but others have said that he sounds a little like Ben Folds, Billy Joel, and The Fray. He set off from his home in Michigan and headed for the South in the Summer of 2005 to pursue the great performing musician's dream. He lived in Nashville for a little over a year before he moved to the Greater Atlanta Area. He brings an element of excitement to the table when he strikes the artificial ivories. Kurt Scobie loves playing for people and has found that once he begins playing and singing, people cannot get enough.
