Hello there,

Where to start? Well, I am Kristopher Lee Lear a lyricist and songwriter from Michigan. I Love and listen to almost all generes of music but Country is my true passion.

When I was younger I wrote alot of Alternative material that I never really did anything with. I honestly have well over a thousand lyrics that have never seen the light of day. In the past two years, with a lot of encouragment from friends and family I decided to jump head first into my dream of recording some great country songs! After recording my first demo, I was hooked and there was no turning back…. It was the most amazing feeling to hear my songs come to life!!! So, I made it a goal of mine to write and record songs that with a little luck and alot of hard work could be enjoyed by others. For me, Songwriting is a Passion and a Dream! I have been a part of songwriting workshops and have become a member of NSAI and ASCAP. I have collaborated with several singer/songwriters and musicians in the past couple years and each one has helped me grow as writer. Without these great people and their collaboration, my songs would never be what they are today. I continue to write new material constantly, always looking for that good hook or new way to make someone laugh, cry or smile. I am always open to collaboration with new musicians and writers as it is a great way to diversify my catalog and continue to grow as a writer. My primary goal as a writer is to create “Great Songs” that will someday get Major Label Cuts and be heard by Everybody!!! It would be a dream come true to write a #1 song that is heard around the world…. What can I say? I am a “Dreamer” and I believe dreams were made to come true… Aside from Music I am a Father,a salesman and an avid outdoorsman. My 2 yr old daughter Danielle (Dani), is my pride and joy. She is my everything and has opened my eyes to a whole new life. For my day job (the one that pays the bills) I am a Finance Manager and Salesman for an independant car dealership. In my free time, I get outside and enjoy nature as much as possible! I am an avid trout fisherman and bowhunter. I love kayaking, hiking, downhill skiing and camping. Well there it is. That is who I am and what I love… My introduction, to all of the Ourstage friends and fans. I will use this blog for future updates on new music.
