Ki Johnson.. is a multi-talented artist. An Inspirational singer, songwriter, modern dancer, and choreographer!!

Born and raised in the City of Compton in a family filled with music! Her Aunt Ginger would gather the nieces together and hand out soprano, alto and tenor notes. This was the beginning of her love for the beauty of music. Back in the day she would imitate the singers that would blaze through the Christian Radio Station, KMAX: Tremaine Hawkins, CeCe Winans, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Vicki Winans. The songwriter in her began to blossom when she was about eight years old. She would listen to the Wave and begin to make up lyrics to the instrumental jazz music.

In 2006 Ki stepped out on faith and released her first maxi single entitled “Butterfly Notes”. This CD is truly anointed and at no surprise was
successful.

Ki is currently working on the completion of her new CD entitled
“New Beginnings”. You definitely want to pay attention to the lyrics, they talk about reality! She takes practical life situations and applies them to the art of music.

When asked, Ki will tell you that one of her favorite things is butterflies,
You start out like a caterpillar in its cocoon, but as God molds you and shapes you, he changes you into a beautiful butterfly.
