Why and how I got started I have been doing music since elementary school playing the drums and other percussion instruments. I stay with percussion all through high school. When I started writing rhymes I was like 10yrs old bout to turn 11. I used to practically live at my anti Joan house in Providence, RI and that is where I first met Hip Hop. My big cousin Derrick was really big in the state with music. I always use to sit outside his bed room door and listen to him write rhymes after football practice faithfully every night. One night while I was easedropping on him he opened the door and cought me . He staired at me for a sec and then asked me "why you trying to be sneaky"? What do you want? I just stared in fright then he said "come here and sit down I want to show you something". Then he sat me on his lap and wrote my very first rhyme with me. Until this day I can still remember that verse. Eversince that day I have been writting rhymes on my own. My cousin Derrick must of seen the talent in my eyes. To be honest he unleashed a lyrical beast. He also maid his own beats. By watching him I learned how to use the MPC-3000 and never stop making beats ever-since. I honestly feel like I will forever be in dept to big cuz. That man maid me what I am today musically and when I drop something don't be surprised if his name is all over my shit. Derrick is my main inspiration and the reason I found my talent and I will make him proud. Just as he worked hard and successed his dream, so will I.
