Junction 31 are a 4-piece power Pop Punk Rock band from Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Officially forming in February 2008, the band are acclaimed for their powerful and energetic live performances, in which they are considered by many, leaders in their field. Junction 31 are a 4-piece power Pop Punk Rock band from Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Officially forming in February 2008, the band are acclaimed for their powerful and energetic live performances, in which they are considered by many, leaders in their field. The band came 2nd in the SNAFU Battle of the Bands 2008, and donated their cash prize to local charity The Rotherham Hospice. In March '09, Junction 31 will be returning to the SNAFU by popular demand, and will start work on their 3-track EP, in association with world renowned producer Dave Major. March '09 also saw the band also reach the Area Final of Live & Unsigned '09, beating a near thousand applicants past the audition stage, only to then get the thumbs up at the Regional Finals at Sheffield City Hall, to perform at The Willows - Salford, Manchester, as part of the remaining 20 North-West finalists. In April 2009, the title track of the up and coming 3-track EP 'PaperClip Love' was released exclusivley on myspace. www.myspace.com/junction31rock
