Julius was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. He is the youngest of four siblings and the only son of Pastor Jackie and Victoria Adams. He began playing the piano at the age of 12. In the beginning he was taught by his father, Pastor Jackie Adams who is an established musician and song writer in his own right. God blessed Julius. He was quickly becoming a master of the keys. He began taking lessons with world renowned musicians. Don't be fooled, Julius isn't looking for success by accident. He was trained by Dr. Edward Kaizer, Professor of Music at Bradley University, an accomplished classical pianist and composer. Kaizer has been in serious study, performance, and composition of jazz since 1979. Ten years ago he began putting pen to paper by the spirit of God. Lyrics and music began to flow with ease. As a young man Julius wanted to share his music with the world. In 1999 he started his own record label: Fat Life Productions (Faithful Available Teachable).

In 2001 he released his freshman project: "Be Not Conformed" where he was joined by his father on vocals. This project presented the gospel world with two singles: Be Not Conformed and The Joy of the Lord. He sold and gave away thousands of copies. Julius' mission is to promote God's word through music all over the earth. His music is conducive to mediation and worship and he has incorporated diverse genres of music to present a sound like no other. The glory of God is revealed in his music and it will definitely save lives.

Now at the age of 28 he has grown in the Lord and is much more proficient as a songwriter, singer and musician. Julius is releasing his sophomore project: Divinity (available itunes.com , rhapsody.com/juliusadams). Two singles on this cd: Created in His Image and Divinity were written in hopes of changing the mental thinking of how Christians promote gospel music and how Christians can change into what God truly wants them to be. It is important to be aware of God's presence and ability in us to conquer this world in Christ.
