J. Rad by definition:

A musical hybrid possessing all the elements of vintage rock infused with a modern edged approach. In the past, diverse song writing made it quite difficult to specifically classify them in any sub-genre of rock. Presently, J. Rad possesses a unique signature sound best described as powerful yet melodic Hard Rock.

The Line-Up: Jared Cannata (J. Rad) – Guitar/Vocals Jordan Cannata (DieZeL) – Drums/Vocals Gino Rudolph – Lead Vocals Russ Zutto – Bass

At the inception, brothers Jared and Jordan Cannata were auditioning singers in hope of finding the voice their musical vision demanded…enter Gino. After a single studio rehearsal chemistry was apparent. Eight years later, Gino is still the trademark voice of J. Rad. J. Rad, now taking it’s final shape, still lacked a bass player that fit the band’s musical style and personality. The search was long and arduous. Three years ago, both a local radio DJ and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza of Twisted Sister recommended Russ Zutto. Zutto claimed his place as the final piece of the puzzle. After nearly a decade of alternating approach, the current line up possesses a synergy of it’s own.
