Joseph is very happy he never continued in Medical School! Yes, after college he attended Med School for 6 months, rocked it but chose to follow his heart >> music. After that, he moved to New York City, joined a band, theater company, and lived in the East Village where music, theater and art was playing at every corner. His band ZEYN was selected by TEEN PEOPLE magazine as having the top 5 best original songs of the year. Unfortunately the band parted ways but fortunately, Joseph picked up a guitar and a pen and started continued writing his own material. A few years later he moved to LA where he's been playing out regularly at venues all over the city including the House of Blues, The Mint, Whiskey, Pig 'N Whistle, Viper Room, and many more.
