Biography In a family of six children, the passion for creating and entertaining was passed directly from father to his son Jordan. Performing from the age of seven as a gospel soloist, Jordan later moved into rock n' roll and gained extensive experience as he toured throughout Western Canada playing the club circuit. His gospel training proved an asset and in the mid 90's Jordan's powerful voice and energetic stage presence made him one of the most sought after front men on the West Coast. The last seven years have seen Jordan rediscover his roots in country music and embrace its melodies and stories with newfound passion. "It's the story lines that appeal to me the most" says Jordan, "They all have such great hooks". Upon rediscovering his original musical passion, there was no looking back. In 2006, Jordan received a grant from Factor Canada, which helped him to complete a four song, self-titled demo CD. He then went on to record his debut album, "That's Me No More", featuring the song ‘Hankin' It Up'. This exposure enabled Jordan to tour extensively and he went on the road to pursue his dream full-time in 2007. In addition to his regular Western Canada circuit, performances include Mountainfest in Merritt, BC, Ponoka Stampede, opening for iconic band Chilliwack, also the 2008, 2009 & 2010 BCCMA awards shows. Jordan has traveled to Nashville, TN, and performed in some of the city's most famous honkytonks such as Tootsies Orchid Lounge, and The Bluebird Café. "It's hard being away from family and friends for long periods of time," says Doell. "But the fans make it worth it and I am happiest when I'm performing live." In 2008 Jordan met fellow artist Gord Bamford and the meeting proved to be a pivotal moment in his career. The connection led to an introduction with 2007 CCMA Producer of the Year, Bart McKay and the trio set out on a musical adventure. The end result of this collaboration was the 2009 release of Jordan's second album "Politically Incorrect". The current single “That’s Who I Am” is gaining momentum on Canadian Radio. The BCCMA has also recognized Jordan's talent and commitment, honoring him with nominations for the Horizon Award in 2007 & 2008, and in 2009 & 2010 nominations for Country Club Act Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Website Of The Year With an extensive tour schedule and, writing trips to Nashville planned through 2011, Jordan is working on songs for his third album and living his music dream.
