I’m not being funny, but, jamming our message box’s with requests for us to vote for you, is falling on deaf ears, and is rather annoying ! I, and I’m sure, others, vote on the basis of one song being better than the other that it is competing against, and, if I’m wrong, then do tell me…..that is the whole idea of ourstage…is it not !

So, you lot….and you know who you are, if you want me to vote for ya, then make sure you write good songs….simple as that !

Hello to anyone bothered to read this, i realize you don’t have to, so i appreciate it that you are ! I also appreciate everyone’s comments and support since I’ve been on ourstage, but feel, just recently, that ourstage let me down !

My song, "cast your mind back ", was 7th in the Alt rock channel on the 22nd of February, the eve of the semi finals, and as you can imagine, i was pretty proud and excited to be going forward to the next stage ! Then i received an email, saying it had been withdrawn after a few people had decided it was in the wrong channel, even though the other 230+ people who had decided it was worthy enough to be there, and in 7th place!

I was upset, and still am, as they acknowledged they received the email i sent them, but, have still not had an excuse off them a week later as to why they did this !

They said they think it would be more suited in the country channel??? Have a listen to "cast your mind back ", is that country?……i….er…really don’t think so !

And then to top it all off, they now, on the 29th feb, change the alt rock channel, to alt pop/rock channel.

They are making these up as they go along, and don’t think even themselves know what genre means what!! I mean “Indie” stands for “independant”, as in artists that either run their own record company or aren’t signed to one at all.You can have independent artists in any genre from rock, to rap, to country, yet ourstage have there own indie channel…is that not wrong??

Anyway…thats my rant over. Let me know if you’re pissed off by things in ourstage, and together, we’ll get it sorted !
