JOHN BRAVO’S BIOGRAPHY Harlem, New York has given birth to a variety of entertainers, and in keeping with that tradition the 25 year old, Dominican artist Bravo plans to take his music career to the next level. Bravo first began recording his music demo at Emerald City Studios located in Tampa, Florida in 1995. From this demo he attained a record deal with the now defunct independent Pentagon Record Company. Unfortunately the labels rise was cut short due to the untimely death of the companies C.E.O. Without a recording home Bravo kept at his craft honing his skills while continuing to record he moved back to Harlem and finished high school. In early 2000 when he ran into Max-A-Million C.E.O Big Wil who was already vigorously building a name for his Record Company throughout Orlando, Florida. Through this acquisition Max-A-Million as well as Bravo were able to gain notoriety and accolades through the various underground media outlets. Such as the OZONE magazine then Orlando Source nominated Bravo for both Latin & Local artist of the year. March 2003 Max-A-Million did unthinkable and attained both covers of the OZONE magazine, in which Bravo was interviewed as well as on the cover along with other artist and supporters of the Max-A-Million movement. During his stay with the label Bravo opened up for a majority of all the major artist that performed in Orlando. Such as, 50cent, D12, The Lox, M.O.P, Mobb Deep, and others. Until the untimely murder of the label head and longtime friend Wilfredo Rivera. Which left Bravo again without a label home. Due to Bravo’s notoriety in the Florida underground music scene, and Radio Personality and club D.J., D.J. Prostyle who had just started his All Pro Records decided to work together. This brought about the birth of the “Back In The Building” mix-tape. Which had 10,000 CD’s packaged and distributed along with and additional 1,000 downloads at www.raphustle.com and www.datpiff.com. Bravo decided to go the solo route and start his Wild Cowboyz label under the O.C.F imprint due to his growing fan base in the Dominican community and slow movement by the labels. Just released his best work to date, “Return of the Wild Cowboyz” also available on the afore mentioned websites and was hosted by L. Boogs of MTV3 and D.J. Precise both Heavy Hitters. Now Bravo is promoting “Ladies” his single off of the yet to be titled debut album.
