I can’t believe “Ax Wound” made the top 10, as Im sure most of you know and I must honestly say it is and really has been an exciting thing; however, I know most of you hate seeing the “Vote for me” emails. With that said, you’ll not be seeing anymore from me, as I feel that if my music is good enough, it will speak all the words necessary to encourage your votes. If it doesnt, well then, I guess I just need to be working harder on creating quality music! I personally dont mind getting those emails and cant really see why anyone else would (It doesn’t require that much effort to hit the delete button people), as with all the wonderful music on here, it really is easy to forget channels, however, with that being said, just because you are my friend or fan and I see your song in a channel, that doesnt mean I will vote for you if I like the competition better. I expect no less and would much wrather EARN your votes than be lobbied for. Like I said before, if my music isn’t earning your votes, then I’m obviously not working harder each day to become a better musician! I really dont understand the success of my song “Ax Wound” on the industrial channel and I really dont know what to say as its success is completely unexpected. I have listened to so many songs in that channel that are, in my own oppinion, so much better. All I can say is thanks to those who voted for my music, especially those who did so because you liked it better than whatever other wonderful music it may have come up against and not just for being my friend. I couldnt do anything that I do musically without you guys, as without the daily inspiration and kindness that many of you seem to share so freely, it would likely not be possible. Thank you all so much and please, feel free to download any of my songs from my myspace page for free (If you cant find the one you like there, let me know and I’ll be glad to email it to you!). I think I will leave the current incarnations free for download until the mastering process is complete on SFF. So enjoy! Seeking other “serious” musicians WITH their own gear living in the North Central, AL area, dedicated to creating some good music. This to me is the only prerequisite. Letting what’s inside come out and expressing it in hopefully an awesome musically artistic release is the prime motivation and for me, that seems to happen a little more easily playing with others. If you find yourself to be of the same philosophy, or if you know of others, please by all means pass the word to them so we can set something up and the sooner the better. As far as creating a band and doing shows goes, thats only going to happen for me AFTER I find that group of others that I click with and our songs and show are TIGHT. Period.
