My PartyLine (Live interview & Remix Contest!) - Tuesday, July 15th 8pm EST

The generous folks here at OurStage have offered to host a live “PartyLine” event on my behalf this coming week, and I’d love for you to be there! In case you haven’t heard yet, PartyLine is a real-time online chat and media-sharing forum, allowing artists like me the opportunity to host private get-togethers centered around news, releases, and just plain old fun.  But this one will be extra special for three reasons:

  1. EJ Quinn Strassel will be conducting a live interview with myself and zircon (Andrew Aversa) - collaborator and engineer on Origins.

  2. OurStage will be promoting the event, so hopefully we’ll see some new faces there.

  3. And this is the whopper… By popular request, I have decided to start up an official Origins Remix Contest.  Those interested in entering will be provided with all of the instrumental and vocal parts on each of three songs from my album, from which they can base their new interpretations.  I will be offering some great prizes/exposure to the winners… So I encourage you to try your hand. :) Everything you need to know (and download) to get started will be announced live at the PartyLine... so don’t miss it!!!

Earth Day Fundraiser

In honor of Earth Day, I want you to help me in contributing to The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campagin!  For every copy of Origins (physical or digital) purchased by 11:59 pm EST on April 22nd, I will donate one dollar to this cause. What can one dollar do? One dollar plants one tree!  Help save The Atlantic Forest in Brazil – one of the most endangered rainforests in the world, with only 7% left of its original area.  Unbelievable…

My goal is to raise $100 for the campaign this week.  You can also contribute on your own separately by clicking on the image on this page.  Mother Nature will thank you; I promise.  Let’s do this!

Keep in mind that the number there on the page may appear lower at times because I will be donating my album proceeds in batches, as opposed to one order at a time.  Also, Please enjoy this recording of me at six years old – a song written by my father about saving the rainforests!

A friend of mine – Kevin Lorenzo Sisk (a.k.a. debeerguy007) – put these fantastic desktop wallpapers together using my album art!  I’ve hosted them for free download, so take what you like!  There are different sizes available: single standard, dual standard, single widescreen, and dual widescreen.  Thanks again, Kevin!

Interview with EJ Quinn of OurStage

Happy April Fool’s Day! I’m afraid my brother pulled a fast one on me… He fooled me into believing that Maryland law prohibits entering contests with cash prizes. Man, I’m gullible.

Anyway, just thought you guys might like to check out my interview with EJ Quinn of OurStage! I assure it is quite genuine, and hopefully you’ll learn some interesting things by reading. (Just pretend I didn’t mention Star Trek…)

Album preorders available

Thank you all who have taken the time to support me here on OurStage! I anticipate some new faces may be coming to check out my profile after this past month’s events… so I wanted to let you all know about my debut album, Origins, which will hit the streets on Earth Day 2008: April 22nd!
