I’m a solo acoustic act, which is not to say to say soft and consonant. A diversity of emotion threaded together by bold narrative is essential to theatrical arts and is something I strives for constantly.

Accessible melodies sung with laymen ugliness has a deep history in American poetry, from Emerson to Tupac, and this entrancing style seeps from the very bones of American music: blues, folk, hip-hop. Growing up on a diet of garage-sale records, home-mixed cassettes, and a fake book of traditional ballads, I’ve tried to ignore genre borders while staying faithful to the spirit of American poetry.
