Jennifer Jandris is 20 years old and has only been singing for 5.5 years. She loves to sing and listen to all genres of music, but prefers and is vocally placed for classical/opera/broadway/light pop styles. She has also played piano for 10 years. “For as long as I can remember, music has played a significant role in my life. It has given me a sense of passion and completion in an atmosphere of continuity and purpose, as well as an approach in guiding me to work harder and achieve all I pursue.”
It wasn’t until 2003, that she discovered piano wasn’t her only talent. Over the years Jennifer has taken several music classes, learned from wonderful vocal coaches and had the opportunity to be a member of different choirs including various churches, The World Children’s Choir, Madrigals, The Alexandria Singers, etc, as well as musicals and on stage performances in the DC area such as GWU’s Lisner Auditorium. After 3 years, of holding back on going to a studio, doing so has become her greatest accomplishment.
“I am still young, and have alot of growth and learning ahead of me. “Holiday Dreams” is just a beginning and I am merely certain I will have more music to offer in the future. The next album I record won’t be covers, but my own composed music."
Love, Jennifer
