In 2007 i learned how to and began recording myself to cut out the cost of studio time and released my second mixtape, Still Nothin Like It, to local success. In 2008, i released Pulse of the Streets, and my fellow artist, Young Hustla's first mixtape, '08 Mo Cake. These three mixtapes were recorded in a 4 month period in which me and my team recorded over 150 tracks! I began working on my second album, This Is M.E., in the middle of 2008 and organized and perfomed at my first show and the first two hip hop shows ever at the Coup in Clarksville. In late 2009, This Is M.E. was released digitally thru CDbaby.com. I am currently working on a new mixtape series, wwwdotJdotmason, vol. 1 of which is available as of May 2010 on datpiff.com and myspace.com/jdotmason, followed shortly by later editions.
