J.Crist was born on September 4th 1980 in Munster, IN. Rumor has he sh*t all over the performing doctors along with himself, but that’s neither here nor there. After spending two and a half years in Chicago Heights, IL the family decided to move to Northwest Indiana. At the tender age of 9 he began recording music in his bedroom using Frisbees as percussion. By the time he was 12, he began recording music on a professional level. In 2003 he inked a distribution deal with Harvest Media Group giving him the ability to sell his CD titled “16 weeks” in Best Buy stores throughout the country. In early 2004 he took his show on the road and opened for Hip Hop group D12 in Milwaukee, WI. A year later he moved to California in hopes of making a career out of his art form. The Golden State had other things in mind for him and with said his music was put on the back burner. In early 2009 J decided it was time to clock back in and capitalize on his God given talent. He’s back, better than ever, and ready to exploit the fact that music is in his DNA. From his mind-altering metaphors to his emotional delivery, J’s aggressive melodic cadence takes Hip Hop to a whole nother level.
