'JayReid', once known as 'JayRoc', loved to imitate his favorite rappers; along those lines were his favorite Kris Kross. He soon realized that he could be just as great and fill those shoes as to becoming a young rapper. His next move was to create a band. He and several other childhood friends formed a group known as the "Outsyders". As they grew, it became an independent situation. Each up and coming star wanted to do their own thing, but still staying in touch with the other members. Moving on to bigger and better things, JayReid began to perform in various talent showcases, and hand out demos, which were a huge success. He started getting attention from young, old, white, black, anything that could listen to music. He then knew he was off to a good start. Later he hooked up with Tony, who is C.E.O of Menage Records, where he met Lil'Ricky and several others and continued his success from their.
