She continues to work with the Funk/R&B legends “Soul fo’ Real”, one of Toronto’s premier soul/funk outfits for which she is the lead female vocalist. Her warm, sultry tone and thought provoking lyrics resonate with fans of soul music and R&B. After years of paying dues as a background vocalist, the time has come for jaQe to bring her unique style and flavor to the forefront. Church was a prominent part of their everyday life; Mamma wouldn’t have it any other way. Her grandmother would school them every night on the bible and then she would teach them how to use their voices. Not long after they were singing at churches all over the city. And that’s how it all started for jaQe. Artist/Songwriter in her own right, she is here to contribute a neo-soul/R&B/funk sound that resonates deeply with emotion. Her warm sultry tone, and lyrical prowess, appeal to a broad audience of loyal fans, and new working with co-writers/producers and meeting with key industry professionals.
