Jamar’s interest in music was well established at the age of 17 when he won a National Choir Competition to sing for Chene Park in Detroit Michigan. Then he began piano and recorder lessons shortly afterwards, and was consequently able to perform with gospel superstar Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond, where Jamar sang a variety of gospel hit recordings and hymns. Then he began piano and recorder lessons shortly afterwards, and was consequently able to perform with gospel superstar Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond, where Jamar sang a variety of gospel hit recordings and hymns. Since then he have taken lessons on piano, singing, also enjoying the challenge of teaching himself to play guitar. Since the beginning of high school, when Jamar was introduced to the concepts of musical history and analysis, he has thoroughly enjoyed studying the subject and thirst to further his study of these aspects of music. Having had experience of assisting in musical direction and conducting some arrangements in school, he is very interested in developing my skills in this area in the future. His work experience placed him to be involved in the field that gave him valuable insight on commercial music.
