something about jaelle Jaelle is a true California girl. She was born in Westlake Village, California. From the moment she was born Jaelle had an innate desire to captivate an audience. From her first attempts at ballet when she was 3 years old, Jaelle made something magical happen on the stage when you watched. Jaelle and her sister and best friend Amie, who was 6 years older, spent their days creating shows and musicals to perform for their friends and family. When Jaelle was 7, she got serious about having a career in show business. She attended an open call for the re-make of "The Little Rascals," produced by Steven Spielberg and Penelope Spheeris. She got the role of 'a baby ballerina,' and danced to her heart's content! She immediately went on to perform in the Joffrey Nutracker at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion as a "Pierrot doll." This led to a full scholarship at the summer program at the San Francisico Ballet School. Upon spending a summer in New York, and watching her sister train with the New York City Ballet, Jaelle realized she wanted to do more than dance. She started performing in talent shows, singing, this time... and realized there was something special in the way her peers reacted to her singing. Her friends were always asking her to sing for them at school, from Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You." When she moved to Orange County at the age of fourteen, Jaelle found an outlet in theatre and performed with local theatre companies. She began working with music producers in Los Angeles, and completed two demos of cover songs from her favorite artists. Jaelle then started writing her own songs, and just recently completed a CD of eight original songs with a real hip-hop/R&B vibe to them. She's been performing in Orange County at special events and private parties. Jaelle continues to write music and lyrics inspired from the experiences she has had studying at USC and from living as the "OC Girl" with a dream to sing for the peoples of the world. Look out for her in the near future! In the spring of 2008, Jaelle went into the studio to begin work with renowned producer Sammy Jay, from the UK. Sammy and Jaelle have brought new life to the pop sounds that we heard at the turn of the century that were so fabulous to listen to, this time with a hip pop, Janet touch. L-A-D-Y is the new song that they have created. More is sure to come. Key Facts: Shares a birthday with Mariah and Fergie, Is obsessed with Pink (the color), Jaelle amazes you at every turn, and the more you learn about her, the more there is to find out! Jaelle is passionate about music and wants to spend her life singing and creating r&b songs. "I dream about winning a Grammy for the Best New Artist in 2010 or if it cannot happen that fast, then maybe 2011. I have so much to give with my singing, and my life will not be fulfilled if I don't pursue this dream of mine. I have watched as Mariah and Beyonce have developed and grown with their music, I admire those two young ladies so much for what they have done for music and for the world, and how they conduct themselves as role models for young girls. With the support of my songwriting partner, my mom, and my sister, Amie, I believe that I, too, can accomplish this dream and that this can be possible." When Jaelle is home in the house, it is filled with song. She is constantly singing melodies and songs she hears on the radio, so much that Jaelle has even taught her chihuahua, Charlie, to sing along. He especially likes the song, 'turn back my life", everytime it comes on the cd, he wails and howls like a real diva dog! He loves it when she hits the high notes and he actually sings in tune! So Jaelle has created a rap "charlie's got the music, music in his soul" for Charlie when he sings. At least Charlie has a good ear!! Jaelleā€™s goal is to Save the World... one song at a time...When she is not in the studio, you will find jaelle bringing music into the schools in LA, as her dream is to help elementary students and young adults realize that music can be a magical force in their lives and give them hope that a better world does exist. Jaelle gives so much to everything that she creates in her life. Her writing professor at USC recently said that the paper she had written "had a voice" and jaelle responded with" my paper sings too??" To which he responded "you better make it PINK". Most recently, Jaelle has been in the studio with the renowned producer Ric Rude, of "Cater 2 U" fame, Destiny's Child, and they have been creating some amazing songs for you to hear. Soon to be released on myspace.... Thanks! She sends her love...
