Mainstream songs, with underground overtones. For 15 years Chuck Bigras has been creating music, always growing and adapting to the "Up to date", original sound. Writing and recording well over 600 songs, Chuck has an arsenal of music at his disposal. Splicing different genres together, Alternative with Rap, Metal and Reggae, Jazz and rock. Always tring to break the music barriers, and have something new and fresh. A writer for ASCAP Chuck plays all his instruments, 100% solo work that he is very proud of. The I Killed Chuck Bigras project is his solo stuff done at home. Hits miss or double up. But the songs are there, and every one is packed full of emotion. Mainly the love of making music is what keeps him recording, and strive to make new music that will ring in peoples ears, give them hope, or inspiration in any way. Still the need to get his music out and find a home for it, is what his goals and dreams are. Chuck has been in multiple bands, currently with the band Phat Tater. Phat Tater started as a solo project from Chuck Bigras. Produced by himself with Mark Berry (Attack Records) Deevel Promotions, and made his first solo cd. Phat Tater : Unsocial. Recorded in New Jersey in only 7 days. Chuck doing all guitars, bass, drums and vocals on the 10 song cd. Unsocial was simplified music, pressured for time, Chuck kept it simple and subtle. Phat Tater is now a live act. Doing very well in Central Florida recieving local spins, some overseas, good shows and good fans.
