“The Wrong One” is truly a classic album. Opening with driving rock tunes like “Be My Baby” and humorous self deprecating anthem “I Suck,” moving to soft deep melodies like “Miss You” and the acoustic track “New.” The lyrics are deep and even dark at times yet still have a refreshing, devil may care attitude about them. “I’m givin’ up, but I’m doin’ ok” croons Ian in the song “Givin’ Up.” There is even an Alan Parsons Project cover song to close the record out!
This is a surprizingly fun and original piece of work from start to finish. Ian’s sound is extremely catchy and so easy to listen to. You’ll find yourself singing along before you even realize it. You do not want to miss this album!  And with so many great songs I don’t think you will!
