Description:UK2USA – Televised for SKY channel 195 (Propeller), this tournament limited to 100 uk bands has trawled the country in search of the cream of the UK’s unsigned talent (judged by judges as opposed to fan vote)- somehow lil ole HUBRIS has been picked to fill one of the slots in the upcoming Manchester semi final so get your ass’s down boys and girls – 15 excellent hand picked bands will be playing with 7 going through to the final with a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to New York – where they will be playing “a gig of a lifetime”, a photo shoot in Times square is thrown in for good measure too!!, this one will be massive (easily over 400 in attendance) so get your tickets now and ill see you there – love to you all.. Ill confirm other Bands playing as their confirmed to me :)

Thats right guys and gals, HUBRIS are going national – thanks to our involvement with British Music Week (I love you Mac btw) HUBRIS has scored (if thats the right word!!) an interview and photo shoot with a large national music mag.. ill update this with further with details eg. name of mag, release date etc as they come in – just wanted to let you guys know the happy news. :D Matt – HUBRIS

Its official and contracts have been signed – HUBRIS are playing British Music Week ‘09 after being, literally, head hunted on myspace I was contacted by one of the head honchos from the event who offered HUBRIS not only a slot to play at the event (which attracts industry rep’s from all over the world – people looking for bands to sign/promote/manage/book and 1000’s of music lovers) but also their services as a promoter/advertising agent…. basically what this means is that by the end of Oct, onwards toward the end of the year over a million people will know the name HUBRIS and have heard our music!! God knows how im gonna burn that many copies of our demo!! (im not sure if my laptop can take it!) – Aidan where are those new cover sleeves! :D

Seriously though, with the release of our newly produced album in Sep on Itunes and in shops, the next year (and abit) is gonna be a big un for HUBRIS. Watch this Space
