Herman Price is a 5-piece band based in Madison, Wisconsin that formed in December of 2006. The band fuses rock, blues, folk, funk, jazz, and country into a unit that ranges from drummer Patrick stepping out front to sing Elvis covers, to originals like the hard-hitting Blackhawk and the rockabilly shuffle of 20x. The boom-chick boom-chick of G.D. keeps the party going, and the easy-going island sounds of Found a New Way will make you smile. All five members of Herman Price sing, providing versatility. Trent and Jared have contrasting guitar styles that complement each other like puzzle pieces, Jake's driving bass lines make the music flow, and Patrick's Ecuadorian roots give the band a little Latin flavor. Joe layers melodies with the keys, and his synths & sound effects both fill and create space. His harmonicas cry for the blues and the band takes note.
