About Henton Marshall Young

I've been playing guitar for several years, and the last year i have been recording my music. I don't really have a band, so i play all the parts. When i'm not playing guitar, i'm watching T.V. As far as my music is concerned, i'm most influenced by different types of guitar music. It all starts with good old Mississippi crossroads blues; the dark kind. Then theres blues based rock, psych and anything from the sixties, grunge, metal, and anything else with real substance. I also, much to my disgust, have a good ear for writing and recording songs i consider very pop oriented. I play a Gibson with plenty of tone, and i can play slow drawn out bluesy solos, or fast, Vai inspired shredding. I like Angus, Slash, and Jimi, and lately Jimi has been the biggest. Funny, since i'm a Gibson man. I also have trouble stressing to people just how much i love the late sixties. I recently picked up a Montery Pop Festival CD, and i love everything there. The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, Mamas and Papas, Buffalo Springfield. THAT'S music with substance.

Thanks man...I listened to "Seperated Forever"...loved the acoustic guitar. Really enjoyed the electric riffs though...great stuff.
