Hey, Thanks for stoping by City Of Dreams. Love your music too. Fleeting Transient Feeling is great. I like all kinds of music. It sounds like a fun band you have. Love it!!! -Ron
Rob...sorry I did not put the dates up for the boulder show...it was last Friday or the day I posted. sorry, it went will...new place for us so it took a few songs their attention...hee, hee... we sold 12 cd so that says something. We played in a blue grass fest. last night...it was awesom...in one the most most beautiful mountain venues...privite so it was not surrounded by the tech world...just nature and great , great music. Next year we will plan better...and stay the whole three days...for $40.00 and three nights of beautiful camping...can't bet it. The Colorado Springs region has some amazing folk artist...to me as good as anywhere.
As musicians often times we draw inspiration from performers of the past...our history goes back to the likes of Ledbelly, Hank Williams Sr., Muddy Waters, Santana, Dylan, Robert Johnson, Rambling Jack, Pete Seger, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and so many more. We honor first their willingness to share their love for music, but also their courage to sing about life as they see it. The Haunted Windchimes would like to acknowledge a performer we grew up listening to and his amazing ability to entertain and reach new levels of connection with his audience...Micheal Jackson.... Like the road so many artist travel... its not as easy as it looks sometimes...fulfilling our dreams...because the truth is, we all as human beings need time to reflect within...to get away from the crowds and the glory of performing at a level where we may be held to standards that are over whelming, or more important, we lose touch with our own roots. Music is not about the fame, its about the music and moment. A salute to all musicians where ever you are...never lose touch with your roots...this is our strength to endure the trials of performing night after night, sometimes in lonely bars, or even cool venues where nobody shows up...because your 'not famous' and all you have is your guitar, your voice and your songs... this to us is what we are most grateful for because we noticed a long time ago...we do not play to those just in the audience, but those who are listening...this music is always and foremost for them.
Thanks to all of you of have commented on our music. We have three shows in the next week and we are also moving and have a trip planned to Hawaii and a Family Reunion coming up...so we are busy and we love it.

Sorry folks that we have not been updating our songs and stuff...we have been so busy making music. 2008-09 was a great year for the HWC, playing our songs all over the country... One of our goals is not only to perform...but to embrace the spirit of folk. blues, country, rock that was laid out for musicans today by those who sing before us. Technically we are still relatively unknown band who is part of a grass-roots label for 'blanktaperecords'. Our goal is not to just make money and become famous...but to unite good music/musicians and promote each other through a grass roots movement exposing the great music/musicians we have connected with as we tour around the country. America is missing out on some great music because of the influence of the control media and large record companies...but hey its happening and more and more bands are seeing it not just about money but touching the hearts and 'minds' of our listeners in a positive way.
We have some great new songs...and will give you a listen soon...
