...wow… SEVERAL of my friends/fans have emailed me saying “yes” to the creation of a VOCALIST CHANNEL.

With enough documented interest and intention this request will be challenging to deny…so if you’ve already respsonded to my original email about this, THANK YOU VERY MUCH…however…

kind of a pain in the azz but could you PLEASE CONSIDER POSTING YOUR INTEREST AND INTENTIONS PER THIS CHANNEL REQUEST HERE IN MY BLOG so that all the support will be located in one place??

it is important that you answer 1 of the 2 following questions in reference to this new channel request…

1) you intend to enter music into this channel and vote in the battles

2) you intend to vote even though you will likely not be submitting to this channel

i could copy and paste the responses i’ve collected so far, but it wouldn’t carry the same weight. a clear intention left in my blog is how i plan to effectively bring daniel and the ourstage staff what seems to be the key (to getting them to truly consider)...other ourstage members wanting and willing to PARTICIPATE in this channel.

if you know of any vocalists and/or potential vocalist channel voters, please do forward this email to them. i have no doubt someone like me is out there needing a vocalist channel to call HOME! :)

the email i sent to my friends~ i just left this comment for daniel palmer and was curious how any of you may feel about my request. i recognize you’re busy people, so certainly don’t feel obligated to read the following, but if you have interest in what channels are here on OurStage, please do take a peak below and know I’M APPRECIATIVE OF YOUR VALUABLE TIME_{truly, ‘cause i know as an artist there is never enough time to do all that we want…life is tasty, ain’t it?!}

The Post I/HALF PINT left on Daniel Palmer’s profile page, Oct 31 at 11:52 AM EDT any possible way to convince OurStage to add a channel for female and male vocalists? i want to continue expossing my art and yet knowing all my recordings thus far are covers and the rules are getting tighter and clearer, it has me pondering how else i can fit myself in beyond the covers channel. for me, i am a vocalist first, a human instrument and i incorporate other instruments into my art to add layers…my point is that i would LOVE to be ‘judged’ for my vocal quality as the top, top priority. yes, the music is vital for a full effect, but it’s that very topic, the music, that seems to limit me in channel choices…and all awhile, the music of my VOICE seems to play little to no role when i attempt to find my ‘right’ channels. i’m wondering if i’m making sense of this here…maybe a little?! in short, if i could put a name to my ideal channel, it would be as i stated above, female vocalist. this way the genre of music would be secondary to what is my primary…VOCALIST. if this could stand on it’s own, without adding to it songwriter or genre specification, i would truly feel i finally found the channel for my art. it would truly allow me to feel to the core that THIS IS OurStage…our!! I’m thinking there are several artists on this site that are primarily vocalists and would love to see a channel that features VOCALS. in fact, i’m gonna go sniff out and see how many others may feel this way. okay, thanks for reading my speil and hopefully getting an idea of what i’m suggesting here.
