Thanks Norm and everyone for the kind words. I started on the Great American Songbook when I was 12. Right now I'm working as much as possible in SF from small cafe gigs to Big Band venues. Next project is to find my own sound. I hear a modern beat under a cross between Tower of Power and Count Basie since I usually go out with at least a 7 piece band. A few years of composition courses and payin' some more dues, who knows? Anyway, cheers to all at Ourstage and thanks for the thumbs up, I really appreciate it.
