Gumshen is a Seattle trio capable of rocking in the classic sense. Many successful shows at local clubs and internet radios were well received. Enlisting production help from Seattle Art Institute audio instructor Rich Hinklin, formerly of Reciprocal Recording (engineered Nirvana and Soundgarden among many), the band returned to the studio and forged their next EP Stew, which received positive acclaim .

Gumshen’s new EP, Super Buffet stretches the band’s music to include a mix of both the light and the heavy.

Gumshen is comprised of guitarist Jan Ciganik (formerly of the John Cale produced band Ventilator), drummer Dennis McCoy (original Gumshen) and guitarist Ron Hippe (formerly of Horizontal Frankenstein).
