The meaning behind the name “VICTORY” is one that most peoplecan identify with. VICTORY explains it best when he says, “life respondsdirectly to how we think and feel – overcoming hardships & tragedieswithout blaming others is….VICTORY”.           Born in the Bronx, andmoving from borough to borough due to instability within the family, VICTORYnever really had the opportunity to connect with his immediate surroundings.After enrolling in college 07, VICTORY soon became bored with his major; ComputerInformation Systems (he also studied command line as well). Coincidentally, itwas this boredom which led VICTORY to Hip Hop. “I remember taking computers apart & putting them back together just because I was curious”. After takinga part his roommate’s Mac and discovering a beat that his roommate was secretlyworking on, VICTORY decided to write a verse and record with Garage Band.Thefeeling of hearing his voice over recorded music quickly took him back to thedays when his mother would blast old school Hip Hop and R&B throughout thehouse for hours at a time. “I rap because it is therapeutic to the soul, I rapfor the people who have yet to find their voice; I rap because this is what Ilove to do”.  When asked what best describes him as an artist, VICTORY’Sresponse was simple – “I feel like I cover every aspect of an entertainer; goodmusic, a great live performer, and the ability to connect with your averageperson”.
