Beatlesque vocal harmonies sliding over Britpop guitar lines with a new wave kiss. Shimmery, sparkley, folksy alternative pop with bite!
The Grayscale story begins with Douglas finding William through the murky soup of the Internet. They also found that they shared influences ranging from The Cure, to Snow Patrol, to U2. They began collaborating and formed Grayscale in early 2005. They rapidly assembled a catalog of alternapop gems-in-the-rough that would become their debut album, “That Flawless Flashing Day.”
“Flawless” was released by NYC indie label Sunset Records in Summer 2007 (www.sunsetrecordings.com). The track “So Credulous I’m Blind” has since become a mainstay of independent Internet radio and the album netted 4 Grammy ballot nominations.
Grayscale has recently completed work on their follow-up album “Haunted Hours,” and is very excited to begin sharing new songs with the world.
