Up to this point, Canadian singer/songwriter Graham Greer has been best known as the lead singer/guitarist/songwriter of Barstool Prophets, who toured Canada and the US through much of the 1990’s in support of one 1993 indie release and two major-label releases while signed to Mercury/Polygram (1995’s “Crank” and 1997’s “Last of the Big Game Hunters”). In 1996, the single ‘Paranoia’ (off Crank) was included in the Alliance/Atlantis major motion picture ‘Never Talk to Strangers’ starring Antonio Banderas and Rebecca Demornay. After the break-up of the Prophets in 1999 and a self-imposed exile, Graham returned to music in 2003 under the name Moonlight Graham with an indie CD ‘Palookaville’ produced by Joe Hardy (ZZ Top, Steve Earle, Tom Cochrane, Colin James) 2009 sees Graham back with a new solo project, this time co-produced by Graham, Joe Hardy and Graham’s friend/guitarist Todd Huckabone. Most recently, Graham was named ‘Best Male’ in the 2009 Barrie New Music Awards, and was a Canadian People’s Choice Award Winner in the NPR 2009 Mountain Stage Newsong Competition.
