GoldFox is based out of Southern Maine where both Beth Gold and Tonya Fox lead normal lives as wives and mothers. All the while they continue to persue their passions of being full time performing artists.

These two ladies have found themselves in a whirlwind of attention after joining together. They have received rave reviews from some of the best and well known industry professionals. But as many raves as they have received they want to take their union at a pace that will allow them to grow as a duo.

They are quickly becoming on of the favorites around the area, and with the increase in popularity they have choose to involve themselves in local charity events. Tonya Fox has been involved in The American Cancer Societies as the Team Captain for "Maine Musicians Care" in the 2008 Relay for Life. She has enlisting the support of local musicians as well as the general public in hopes to raise money for the American Cancer Societies event The event will be held this year at the South Portland High School on June 13 &14. Come walk for a cure and enjoy the music!

Tonya Fox has been singing most of her life and has been writing music as long as she could remember. As a young girl she grew up listening to such great artists as Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash while spending time with her grandfather. Tonya's grandfather was the driving force in her passion for Country Music .“My grandfather was an all America man, from his head to his toes he was Country, ” she tells us. Growing up Tonya was exposed to all types of music. She relays that her family was not to picky about the music they listened to, so she listened to almost everything. Country stole her heart and she has been stuck like glue every since. This young lady has a voice that is unstoppable, and as far as she is concerned she has placed herself in a “learning status” a Novice of sorts. In her eyes singing is apart of who she is and her reality is every note. As modest as she is, there is no denying the talent that is there and the talent that has yet been tapped. But time will tell and the world will soon come to find that Tonya Fox as a member of GoldFox will be one of those that you are simply drawn to.

Beth Gold is an acoustic guitar player that is a creative soul in her own right. Beth feels that playing is about sharing the love, taking a little chance and always allowing yourself the opportunity to learn something new everyday. She loves the honesty of the blues. Blues music is as much a part of her as the air that she breathes. She is inspired by both past and present blues artists including, Skip James, Rev. Gary Davis, Robert Johnson, Jorma Kaukonen and Eric Clapton.

She has had a chance to study under master guitarist Randy Gouge as well as undertaking long distance study through Jorma Kaukonen, former member of Jefferson Airplane and current member and founder of Hot Tuna.

of learning from so many wonderful musicians all around the world.
Each day I see how much more there is to learn, and how far I want to take my playing. There is simply not enough time in life to ever "arrive".
