His rap style is heavily influenced by modern day hip hop icons such as Jay Z, 2 Pac, Biggie, NAS, KRS-One, TI and Jeezy. The 25-year-old rapper/songwriter is featured on R & B sensation Jay-L’s new release, “I’m A New Man,” on the track entitled, “Bought the Mall.” He was also featured on Rochester native R & B singer Sunih’s track entitled, “Left To Right.” He has performed at many venues around the Rochester area, including The Underground, Genesee Community College, Jay-L Showcases, The Venue, Water Street, Clothesline Festival and several talent show cases hosted by 232 Entertainment. Golden Boi has his eyes set on making a career in the music industry and is well on his way. He has connected with listeners by spitting a positive message over instrumental tracks that are catchy both melodically and rhythmically. He has already gained respect by both club owners and audiences by 1- bringing in a draw through promotional diligence, and 2- delivering high energy and crowd moving performances everytime. Hard on his grind, Golden Boi manages time between the studio, his shows and his fans, but never forgets the importance of his responsibility as a role model and father to his children.
