Gokul Salvadi is a Carnatic singer from India. His early training started with Violin, when he was fourteen. Violin was the first instrument he fall in love with, according to him. After few years he started taking vocal training with Shri. Lakshmi Narasimhan.

Interestingly during his travel and work, one could see him taking his iPod or a piece of paper, and recording, or writing musical passages that he imagines for specific projects or for nothing.

Gokul writes, ”If you find something good in my work, there is a great man Shri. Lakshmi Narasimhan, my Guru, who took (taking) much pain in taking me to places where I can explore the wonder world of music”

He says he believes that perception makes all the difference in music.When Gokul was once asked to define music, he said, “Music is derived from Silence and beautified by Sounds.”
