About GM910

Portrait of GM910
"If each one I reach, would teach one at least, I would be kryptonite. Satan can't touch me"
God's Message was brought to life on April 14, 1976 in the form of a seven pound, six ounce little boy. Faced with many adversities throughout myself, God still mananged to maintain and bless me, even when I wasn't aware that he was doing so. It is for this reason, I record my praises to him in the form of Gospel Rap. I am so thankful to God for blessing me with the talent and creativity to express my praise in ways to make people move and step in the name of GOD. From childhood I have always wanted to be a preacher...I never dreamed it would come in the form of holy hip-hop. My vision as a gospel artist is to promote the word of God with an open mind. My vision is to have people on one accord of all races, walks of life, genders and ages moving and praising God to my musical messages. I truly feel and in fact know the inspiration and skill to create my work comes from the Father. I am a true soldier for Christ, I am obidient to his calling and will write whatever message he sends through my pen. I am blessed and more than honored that God has chosen me (of ALL people) to deliver his message. The result is a divine, soulful, heartful and anointed musical message that everyone can relate to!

God Bless

Wowwwwww! I am totally blown away again! Man, your new song "Do It 4 Christ" says so many things that I've wanted to say to other more "judgmental" Christian folks for years, but I guess I was way far too angry and frustrated to even collect my thoughts, much less get them out in such great form. Your very right, some folks need to carefully read "The Word" that they profess to believe. Those proclaiming that other artistic forms like the wonderful rap of GM919 as "The Devil's Music" need to realize that the majority of people in America, especially the 9-30's crowd(maybe even more than that), including the Christian audiences, everyday, turn to secular music and entertainment because the Christian based forms of entertainment are so limited in their appeal, and truly biased and a turn off, in some ways! I know this to be true because I have lived it! As a secular artist, who just happens to be a Christian, I have often times experienced this, especially here in the Southeastern USA. I know that most folks probably mean well, but how hard is it to listen to something and tell where it's underlying flow/influences are coming from or leaning toward. I think that it boils down to being a good listener, and this falls into audience responsibilities. To learn, or to appreciate great works of art, we as listeners have to also be creative and skilled in the way that we listen, the discerning ear of sorts! Also, an open mind helps a great deal! It's a shame that some folks miss the pleasure because they refuse to see beyond their own prejugdices and biases. This great rap music(masterpiece in my opinion), if given media exposure, will reach a lot of people that aren't interested in listening to the stereo typical classic Sunday morning gospel mainstream music. Christians as a whole need to keep this fact in mind!
Extremely well done piece GM! Hang in there big guy! Change has always been slow to come! But, your art is greatly appreciated! I loved it! Keep on turning out those great rap tunes!
Thanks for letting me know about the new song!
    Best Regards,
    Ron

Not taking anything away from "Devils & Demons", but I'm really feeling "Time To Shine!" In my opinion, this is great Christian Rap Music! Everybody, why aren't commercial radio stations playing more of great new artist like this, that have a passion for real music, and an accountability to their listening audience. There are a lot of artists here on Ourstage(Rap Music Included) that could learn a lot from this guy! He doesn't use any profanity or sexually explicit language in his wrap, yet his point is made loud and clear, by his talent, brains and creativity, instead of trying to see how thugged out he can be! I really appreciate this aspect of his music! I see and hear enough of the street every day, I don't need to hear it in my music too! This guy's got class! His music is real, but also kid friendly/safe! Thumbs up! He's got my vote!
