On the Outside, the latest offering from Toronto/Montreal alt-rockers glo has finally arrived. The 10-song album, mixed in L.A. by producer Paul Lani (U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers), is now on the shelves and the first single, Move Along, has spent 4 months and counting on the Canadian Rock Charts peaking at #41. “It’s really the level of songwriting and sheer musicality that puts these guys above the rest” - Paul Lani. Rick (vocals, rhythm guitars), Eddie (guitars, bass), and Patrick (drums) first came together a few years ago and released the self-titled debut glo. The album spawned a number of songs that were featured on TV and film soundtracks, including the single Wither. It was the success of that album that landed glo with gigs in NXNE in Toronto, Canada and the ‘In the City’ music festival in Manchester, England. Currently, the band is shooting a video for On the Outside(second single) and is readying for a cross-Canada tour this summer.
