Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area,Gina Marí is quickly emerging as a rare gem in the international music scene. Being the grandchild of Sicilian immigrants,Gina Marí is taking the scene with lilting lyrics in Italian and English vividly coloring her music with sultry passion.Gina Marí has captivated audiences throughout Europe including France, Italy, Ireland and England.Recently she has been collaborating with a variety of local California talent, including Sol Horizon, MC Danny-D, Top Shelf, ANANTA and Pandora’s Tribe, performing at events such as Harmony Festival, EarthDay – Sebastopol, private parties, local shows, art openings and various festivals along the West Coast. She is a dancer in Pandora’s Tribe an American-Tribal Belly Dance Group. says that “music is the language of the soul”, and her ultimate hope is to reach out to people through her music by inspiring her listeners to "remember who we are.” Gina Marí’s passion involves humanitarian efforts in helping mothers and children. Her current projects include her new E.P. scheduled for release in fall 2009.
