Growing up in the Bay Area can teach you to look at life with new eyes....

at least that what ive gotten from it. You see out here we really dont have alot of media in our streets to make people realize how our lifestyle really is out here. Yes i know almost everyone has heard about "The Hyphy Movement" and "going dumb" but they honestly dont realize that "HYPHY IS NOT A TREND ITS A WAY OF LIFE" im here to show that by lettin you understand my community and i thru the muzik.....

***the reason why i have not yet released a mix-tape or anything is for the fact im approaching the game from a business minded point of view why would i release what i can really do behind the mic without the quality 2 bring my talent to its fullest potential

in other words why would i bring myself out looking like a low budget artist and short myself 4 what i really can be if i put in just a lil more effort/ money

i study this shit everyday because this is what i look forward 2 supporting my family by the time i look at retirement and also because this can be the key for me 2 uplift my community because as of rite now my community is in a free fall do to the low motivation that has spread around my city... where i come from there is not a lot of open doors like a place like L.A. or N.Y. has
but there is a lot of opportunity due to the talent that my city produces

Oakland, ca is one of the only places in the world where music artist have been able 2 survive on independent labels to the point they can sell at major status and provide themselves the ability 2 live a more luxurious lifestyle

wich is a good thing but at the same time also hurts us in a way for the fact major labels really arnt that interested with doing business with our market out here because our culture is different from most of the world so we make music to sell to our community more then we do 2 sell other places

with that being said i want you 2 take a look at bet or mtv and notice all of the new artist you see entering the game notice all the records you hear kinda sound similar for the fact every1 is getting signed as tax write offs 2 these major labels and for these companies to keep their money up they have 2 sell whatever is catchy so that's why we have been experiencing so many one hit wonders lately and so many new dances because you r starting 2 see the business side of the industry (if it's stupid enough to get stuck in your head then it will sell) its not the business of making music is the business of selling records thus explaining the name "record- company"

that is the reason why im not in a rush because i also have learned if you gain a major fan base you get something like a upper hand on most artist trying 2 enter the game with these catchy songs for the simple fact you r more likely 2 survive in the industry because you can change up your style 2 sell 2 different crowds

you have artist that can sell local and then you have artist that can sell over seas i do not want 2 be 1 to sell local because to me that is called settling for less so id rather take my time and take the rite steps

the key to becoming something major in the industry is to make music that recreates an emotion you have experienced from your life because we all relate to each other in so many different ways that there is no choice but 4 somebody to be able 2 share that same feeling with you

its a saying that goes "history repeats itself" wich is true if you take a look at it.
music plays a major role in our lives it help us go through our problems we deal with day 2 day it helps us make decisions and it inflicts new beliefs and ideas on us everyday

ok now i want you 2 take what i just said and look up philosophers like
"Aristotle", "Socrates", or "Plato" and you will see the similarities of how music artist and philosophers in the bc time period inflict there ideas and beliefs upon there communities and the reactions they get from doing so

music is new age philosophy and if you think in the mindset of trying 2 be a philosopher instead of just another music artist you will have a more intense effect on the people that take the time out 2 listen to your music because you have something to say with a "real" meaning behind it.

so like i said in the beginning im not in a rush 2 come out because i feel that when i come out i need 2 be looked at as someone who needs to be in the game making a major impact instead of just another up and coming artist who can rap really well

if you are another music artist reading this or in fact any1 who is reading this i need you to know that whatever road you choose to take in life it is best 2 educate your self to the fullest capibilty even if you are not gettin that education from school because we are givin so many tools in my generation to make that education possible the sky is the limit and there is never a good enough reason to give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!***
